Belgian Market Leader Cyclis Bike Lease Brings in German JobRad Group as Strategic Partner

Cyclis Bike Lease, founded in 2014 and market leader in our country for years, aims to help as many commuters as possible cycle to and from work stress-free. The company ensures that all its customers can use their bikes worry-free through a uniquely developed digital platform. This enables smooth bike leasing for both small and large companies. The founders of Cyclis Bike Lease all remain on board as shareholders. Belfius Bank, which acquired a minority stake in 2019, exits as a shareholder but continues to collaborate commercially with Cyclis Bike Lease in line with its ambition to inspire and guide customers in the transition to sustainable mobility.

The entire team of management and employees, led by CEO Joep Kempen, also remains unchanged.

New Teammate

JobRad has already put more than 1.5 million bikes on the road in Germany. Additionally, the German player has a successful subsidiary in Austria. Through the acquisition of Cyclis Bike Lease, the German market leader in bike leasing now enters the Belgian Dutch market.
